Shantou Chaoyang Vocational and Technical School (formerly Chaoyang Teacher Training School) was renamed with the approval of Guangdong Provincial People's Government on May 8, 2005. It is the center school of vocational education in Chaoyang District, the test center and training base of national computer grade examination, and the designated test center of computer application ability of professional and technical personnel in the city. The school is located in Chengbei No.3 Road, Mianbei Street, Chaoyang District, Shantou City, covering an area of more than 5,000 square meters (land to be requisitioned in the near future) and a building area of more than 9,000 square meters. It is equipped with multimedia classrooms, computer rooms, audio-visual classrooms, electronic laboratories, language labs, dance rooms, music rooms, art rooms, accounting laboratories, teaching offices and other facilities.
