What is German A2?
The European * * * Same Language Reference Standard, referred to as the "European Standard", is a set of recommended standards adopted by the European Parliament on 20011,which provides a reference for European languages in terms of evaluation framework, teaching guide, examination and teaching materials. German standards are formulated by Goethe Institute. You can take exams at all levels according to your own German learning. German Eurostandard is roughly divided into six grades (A 1, A2, B 1, B2, C 1, C2) from entry to proficiency. The corresponding German exam grades and vocabulary are shown in the following figure (for reference):

If you want to go to Germany, you need to provide proof that Germany has the ability to obtain a residence permit. And this simple German ability can be proved by obtaining the European standard language proficiency certificate.

In the new immigration law implemented in July 2007 (also included in the visa application procedure for family reunion visas), Goethe Certificate A 1: Primary German Certificate 1? And all higher-level Goethe language certificates (A 2 to C 2) are recognized as German language certificates.
