The college has three national key disciplines: signal and information processing, circuit and system, electromagnetic field and microwave technology, information acquisition and detection technology 1 doctoral program, and two postdoctoral mobile stations: electronic science and technology and information and communication engineering. It has two national teaching bases, namely, the national engineering electrical and electronic basic course teaching base, the national experimental teaching demonstration center (electronic class) and the national defense key discipline laboratory of extremely high frequency complex system. There are four undergraduate majors: electromagnetic field and wireless technology, electronic information engineering, information countermeasure technology, radio wave propagation and antenna.
The college has several teaching laboratories, such as University of Electronic Science and Technology of China -ADI-DSP Technology Laboratory, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China -Intel VLSI Laboratory, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China -IntelPCA Laboratory, Agilent Laboratory of University of Electronic Science and Technology of China-United States Semiconductor Company Joint Laboratory, Electronic Engineering Practice Base, University Students' Science and Technology Innovation Center, and Single Chip Microcomputer Open Laboratory.
