Definition of registered geotechnical engineer
According to the Regulations on the Administration of Registered Engineers in Survey and Design issued by the Ministry of Construction on February 4, 2005, registered engineers refer to professional and technical personnel who have obtained the Qualification Certificate of Registered Engineers in People's Republic of China (PRC), registered in accordance with these regulations, obtained the Registered Practice Certificate and Practice Seal of Registered Engineers in People's Republic of China (PRC), and engaged in survey, design and related business activities of construction projects.
Registered geotechnical engineer examination
Unlike ordinary engineers, registered geotechnical engineers need to pass exams (including previous assessments) to obtain qualification certificates. The examination is difficult and requires candidates to have a solid theoretical foundation and practical experience.
