Do you need employee health certificate and health training certificate to apply for food business license? Are employees responsible?
Legal analysis: no responsibility. Generally speaking, food producers and sellers have certain security obligations to ensure food safety. The state stipulates that employees in the catering industry should apply for health certificates. The management of food safety in China is strict. If there is something wrong with the food, you should be specifically responsible. If it is your own problem, you will not be held accountable for handling the health certificate.

Legal basis: Article 26 of the Food Hygiene Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) stipulates that food producers and business operators must have a health examination every year; Food production and marketing personnel who are new to work or temporarily take part in the work must have a health examination and obtain a health certificate before taking part in the work. Anyone who suffers from dysentery, typhoid fever, viral hepatitis and other digestive tract infectious diseases (including pathogen carriers), active tuberculosis, suppurative or exudative skin diseases and other diseases that hinder food hygiene shall not take part in direct contact with imported food.
