Chengdu Vocational College of Agricultural Science and Technology is a full-time general higher vocational college approved by Chengdu Municipal People's Government and Sichuan Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. It is a high-quality vocational college, the first batch of modern apprenticeship pilot colleges of the Ministry of Education, and a demonstration vocational college in Sichuan Province. The school was founded by the Agricultural College of National Sichuan University 1937, and is a provincial higher agricultural vocational school in Chengdu. Wenjiang Agricultural School in Sichuan Province, formerly known as1958; In 2002, it was upgraded to Chengdu Agricultural Science and Technology Vocational College; In 2005, Chengdu Animal Husbandry and Veterinary School and Chengdu Electromechanical Engineering School merged into a college.

In April 2023, official website showed that the school had two campuses, namely Liucheng Campus and Haike Campus, with a campus area of 447 mu and an off-campus practice park of 1 1,000 mu.
