Logic has always been very important, but we didn't pay special attention to it in our childhood education. When we attach importance to logic, we take the postgraduate entrance examination, and some of them are logic questions. This means that most people who have not taken the postgraduate entrance examination will not spend time and energy to study logic seriously, and they don't know where to start.

Fortunately, the most valuable and ubiquitous logical thinking books can give us a chance to learn by ourselves.

Based on the recommendation of some big V's, I also finished the theme reading of Logical Thinking for myself. The following are the books I have read in recent months.

This book brought me into the logical thinking of McKinsey consultants. The content in the book is a bit obscure, and it always feels like a translation problem. However, if you read carefully, you will gain a lot. Worthy of McKinsey's 40-year classic training materials. Many McKinsey-type books will take this book as a reference.

The McKinsey trilogy is:

McKinsey Method-Washing Hands

Mckinsey Consciousness-Brainwashing

Mckinsey tools-washing feet

This is released by McKinsey Group. Based on the interview with McKinsey consultants, it combines McKinsey's thinking and methodology. After reading this McKinsey trilogy, I basically have a clear and systematic understanding of the mysterious McKinsey. Personally, I like the book McKinsey Consciousness best. Almost every chapter is dry, but it is a bit brain-burning to understand.

3. A little blue logic book

This thin logic book is definitely the most interesting logic book! Mainly because this blue logic book is mainly applied and provides various types of logical thinking, supplemented by cases, which is very interesting to read. Of course, because of its practicality and interest, this book lacks certain depth and systematicness. I think the greatest significance of this book is to let us find the interest and motivation to persist in learning logic in this pile of boring logic books.

4. Simple logic-McLenny

I read the original English version of Logic, because Lian Yue always emphasized that this logic book is an introductory book, which is really simple! I thought the original English version should not be difficult, but it turned out to be a bit difficult for Logical White, so it took me a long time to finish reading it. I want to read the Chinese version again, but I haven't had time. However, Falcon also listed this book as an introductory book on logic, and students who want to learn logic can't bypass this book.

5. Lecture 19 on Logic-william walker Atkinson

It is said that this book is also an introduction to logic. This book is not thick. Nineteen is nineteen chapters, but each chapter is not long. It is this thin logic book that makes me see the dullness of logic. But there are also many gains. Have a clear understanding of many basic concepts in logic and know the ins and outs of these concepts. The deductive reasoning, inductive reasoning and syllogism mentioned in it are easily reminiscent of some logical principles of the Golden Pagoda Principle. This book is definitely the basic book of logic.

Big J, a famous parenting advocate, has adopted the famous "syllogism" in many of her articles: what to do, why to do it, and how to do it. Even with a daughter, she does not forget to use three-point logic, such as the following two situations.

You see, learning logic not only helps us to cultivate clear and organized thinking, but also affects the education of the next generation.
