Frequency of social workers' continuing education
According to the Measures for Continuing Education of Social Workers issued by the Ministry of Civil Affairs, the cumulative time for assistant social workers to receive continuing education in social work specialty in each registration period (3 years) shall not be less than 72 hours. Social workers, senior social workers in each registration period (3 years) to receive social work professional continuing education accumulated not less than 90 hours. Social workers need to attend continuing education every three years when they obtain the corresponding social worker grade certificate.

The calculation method of the time for social workers to receive continuing education is as follows:

(a) to participate in social work training and obtain a certificate, and the time for continuing education is calculated according to the actual training time;

(two) to participate in social work professional education, to obtain academic qualifications or degrees, a one-time record of 90 hours; Without academic qualifications or degrees, the time of continuing education shall be calculated according to the actual teaching time of professional courses that have passed the examination.
