Electrician certificates are generally divided into high-voltage electrician certificates and low-voltage electrician certificates. Holders of high-voltage electrician certificates can be on duty in high-voltage (30,000 volts) distribution rooms and low-voltage (380 volts) distribution rooms to inspect 30,000 volts high-voltage lines. Low-voltage electrician certificate can be engaged in the duty and line inspection of switch rooms below 380 volts, as well as the maintenance of common electrical appliances.

The examination of high-voltage electrician certificate is generally conducted jointly by the power supply department and the local labor bureau. You must have a high school education and a certificate (certificate) of studying in a relevant professional school before you can take the exam. The examination of low-voltage electrician certificate is usually organized by the local labor department in conjunction with the power supply bureau and other relevant units, and the certificate can only be issued after passing the examination. The application conditions usually require high school education, and qualified certificates of relevant professional schools can be applied for.

In some secondary technical schools, before students graduate, the school will organize students to take the examination of employment certificate. Students can get double certificates after graduation, that is, graduation certificate and employment certificate.
