In 2022, Guangxi University of Finance and Economics scored 483 points in the second batch of undergraduate courses in Jiangxi; Guangxi University of Finance and Economics scored 435 points in the second batch of undergraduate science in Guangxi; Guangxi University of Finance and Economics approved the admission score of 564 points for Hainan undergraduate course; Guangxi University of Finance and Economics scored 448 points in the second batch of undergraduate science admissions in Guizhou.

Guangxi University of Finance and Economics is a full-time undergraduate college located in Nanning, the capital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It is the construction unit of application-oriented undergraduate colleges of the Ministry of Education, the construction unit of characteristic colleges in Guangxi, the training unit of "serving the special needs of the country" in master of professional accounting, the China-ASEAN Finance and Taxation Talent Training Center, the first batch of demonstration universities in China to deepen the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education, and the first-class discipline construction unit in Guangxi.

The predecessor of the college can be traced back to Guangxi Business School founded by 1960 and Guangxi Finance and Economics School founded by 1963. In May 2004, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, Guangxi University of Finance and Guangxi Business School merged to form Guangxi University of Finance and Economics.
