First of all, AEAS is the abbreviation of Australian Education Assessment Services, which is an Australian education assessment service company. AEAS test is a comprehensive test designed by this institution for students who want to go to Australia for secondary school. Different from IELTS, AEAS not only tests students' English level, but also evaluates students' mathematical reasoning ability and comprehensive ability, and provides more detailed student information to help schools decide whether to admit students, and gives suggestions on the number of weeks students need to attend intensive English courses. At present, more than 70 secondary schools have been approved by the Australian government to accept AEAS test scores, and this number is still increasing. 3) Comprehensive ability
This part of the exam is not limited by English language, and the exam time is about 30 minutes. This is a non-verbal reasoning multiple-choice question, similar to IQ and personality test, which can reflect students' comprehensive ability level. The invigilator will also explain the precautions in the exam to the students in Chinese.
AEAS examination evaluation system and score report
The perfect score in the AEAS exam is 63.
English part: * * * 5 items, original score 100. The maximum original score of each sub-item is 20 points, which is converted into one sub-item, from 1 to 9 points.
Mathematics part: the original score is 45 points, which is converted into standardized score 1-9 points.
Comprehensive ability: The original score is 64.10 (each exam may be different), and the standardized score is 1-9.
After the examination 10 working days, AEAS headquarters will issue a report on the results. The report will be sent by email to the students or the institutions designated by the students, as well as the schools to which the students apply. AEAS's report consists of three pages, the first page is about students' information, the second page is about English scores, and the third page is about mathematics and comprehensive ability scores, as well as the evaluation summary and suggestions on the weeks of intensive English courses.
