Phuket (Thai:) belongs to Phuket of the Kingdom of Thailand, covering an area of 543 square kilometers. It is the largest island and the smallest province in Thailand. In 20 14, there were more than 600,000 islanders.
Phuket is located in the southwest of Thailand, above the southeast sea of Andaman Sea. It is a long and narrow island, which is long from north to south (the longest point is 48.7 kilometers) and wide from east to west (the widest point is 2 1.3 kilometers). The Bapa Strait in the north is adjacent to Phang Nga Bay in Thailand, the east side echoes Krabi on the other side across Phang Nga Bay, and the west and south banks are close to the Andaman Sea.
Phuket faces the Andaman Sea, and its climate is influenced by the ocean monsoon. The first half of the year is hot and the second half is rainy.
