Shanxi Media College, located in Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province, is a university approved by the Shanxi Provincial People's Government and the State Administration of Radio and Television. Its predecessor was the North China Radio and Television School established by the former Ministry of Radio and Television 1983. On this basis, 1990 established the Management Cadre College of the Ministry of Radio, Film and Television.
