The base should be equipped with toilets or washrooms; The varieties of medicinal materials should be local genuine medicinal materials or bulk medicinal materials to meet the needs of practice.
Priority is given to the standardized planting demonstration base and GAP base of Chinese herbal medicines accepted by the Ministry of Science and Technology. The technical person in charge of the production enterprise and the person in charge of the quality management department should have a college degree or above in Chinese medicine or agriculture, animal husbandry and other related majors, and have practical experience in the production and quality management of medicinal materials.
Relevant personnel engaged in the production of Chinese herbal medicines should have basic knowledge of Chinese medicine, agronomy or animal husbandry, and conduct regular training and assessment in accordance with GAP norms. Those who have participated in GAP training, certification or research projects in this field are preferred.
