Under the great attention and cordial care of Shangrao Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, Wuyuan Branch has defined the development orientation of "facing tourism and making enough tea articles". Through the unremitting efforts of generations of Wuyuan Branch, the school has made remarkable progress in various undertakings. The branch company covers an area of 140 mu, with an existing construction area of 30,365 square meters. Campus tree-lined, elegant environment, is a garden-style school. Over the past 70 years, nearly 7,000 junior and intermediate technical talents in the tea industry have been trained, of which 1200 have become technical backbones or management cadres in China tea industry, more than 4,600 have become city, county and township government cadres, and more than 800 have become owners of private enterprises and factories (shops). Located in the northern suburb of Wuyuan County, a national cultural eco-tourism demonstration zone. The campus is surrounded by tea forests, trees are shaded, quiet and elegant, with fragrant seasons and a good educational environment.

The school has complete teaching facilities, including multimedia classrooms, language lab, physique room, microcomputer room, computer assembly and maintenance room, tea ceremony performance hall, tea tasting, tea brewing, biochemistry, plant physiology and more than 20 professional laboratories. The library has a collection of more than 70,000 books, and has functional training bases such as tea gardens, orchards, tea primary refining processing plants and teahouses.

The school has ten majors, including tea culture, modern mechanical tea making, tea management and management, tea market development and trade, computer and application, eco-tourism, catering and famous tea processing. Among them, tea culture specialty is a national specialty and a provincial boutique specialty. The students of this school have won many awards in domestic and international tea art skill competitions, won the group silver award in the first national tea art vocational skill competition held in Hangzhou in 2006, and won the gold medal in the third tea culture festival held in Ningbo in 2008. The rose tea created by our teachers and students also won the silver prize of Singapore International Food Expo and obtained the patent.

Strengthening practical teaching and paying attention to skill training are the teaching characteristics of tea schools. 1986 was awarded the title of advanced unit by the Ministry of Agriculture for "improving campus base construction and improving students' practical ability". 15 years, teachers in our school have edited 6 textbooks nationwide, participated in compiling 10 textbooks, published more than 50 papers in academic journals at or above the provincial level, and obtained 19 scientific research achievements at or above the provincial level. Six teachers visited Japan, Tunisia, the United States, Singapore and other countries as experts.

Since the country implemented the reform of enrollment in merged secondary schools, the school has always regarded the employment of students as the top priority. We have established stable employment outlets in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Wuhan and other places, and directly implemented "order enrollment" with employers to ensure students' employment.
