Shanghai Flower Arrangement and Floriculture Association was established in 1987, with more than 5,000 individual members and more than 50 unit members, making it the largest association in China. Association is a mass professional organization with legal person qualification approved and registered by government departments. There are/kloc-0 experienced flower arranging masters (4 in China) and 6 Chinese flower arranging masters (9 in China) in China. The Association has thousands of flower arranging technicians and various flower arranging talents, and has won many honors and medals for the country and Shanghai in various exhibitions and competitions at home and abroad, forming an artistic style of flower arranging with Shanghai characteristics. The Association has compiled and published such books as Chinese Flower Arrangement Art, Chinese Flower Arrangement Japanese Flower Arrangement, Chinese and Foreign Modern Flower Arrangement, Family Flower Arrangement, Artificial Flowers Dried, Flower Arrangers, Illustrations of Junior Flower Arrangers 14 volumes. Since 1996, the association and relevant units have jointly held the biennial Shanghai International Flower Arrangement Art Exhibition, which is a brand exhibition of Chinese flower arrangement industry. Flower arranging groups and artists from all over the world, China, Hongkong, Macau, Taiwan Province Province and other provinces and cities participated in exhibitions, performances and exchanges. The Association holds the "Shanghai Cup" or "Flower Cup" flower arranging competition once a year, which attracts overseas, foreign and domestic Shanghai citizens, professionals and amateurs, and is one of the authoritative competitions in the industry. Shanghai Flower Arrangement and Floriculture Training School affiliated to the Association was rated as an A-level school run by social forces. The vocational training of flower arranging workers, subsidized by the government, is the vocational skills appraisal authority No.044 Vocational Skills Appraisal Institute. The school also invited experts from home and abroad to teach Japanese flower arrangement, western flower arrangement, eastern and western flower arrangement design, commercial flower arrangement and other courses in Shanghai. It is the leader of the teaching and research group of flower arrangement in Shanghai vocational training. The association has extensive exchanges and contacts with overseas flower arranging circles. He has been to Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Italy, the Netherlands, the former Yugoslavia, China, Hongkong, Macau, Taiwan Province Province and other countries and regions to participate in flower arranging exhibitions, performances, competitions, lectures and other academic exchange activities.
