The school has seven secondary colleges, including Arts and Crafts College, Fine Arts College, Visual Communication College, Environmental Art College, Fashion Design College, Industrial Design College and Digital Art College. The school has 25 majors and 54 small majors, covering two series of modern art design and traditional arts and crafts. This multi-disciplinary professional pattern makes the school unique.
The school also has many bases, such as the national key vocational education teacher training base of the Ministry of Education, the non-hereditary population training base of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the national women's handicraft training demonstration base, the Chinese excellent traditional culture inheritance base of the Ministry of Education, and the continuing education base of arts and crafts professionals in Jiangsu Province. In addition, the school also has Suzhou Taohuawu Woodcut New Year Pictures Society (Research Institute).
The school is the vice chairman of the teaching steering committee of art design major in vocational colleges of the Ministry of Education, and also the chairman of the plane vision special committee of the teaching steering committee of art design major in vocational colleges of the Ministry of Education.
