5G new infrastructure empowers car networking

According to the analysis made by the US Department of Transportation based on their 6 million traffic accidents at a specific stage, about 60% of traffic accidents can be solved by bicycle intelligence, and 80% of traffic accidents can be solved by perfect V2X vehicle-road coordination. The combination of the two can solve about 96% traffic accidents.

Therefore, 5G is generally regarded as a key technical point of vehicle-road coordination. Only with the support of high bandwidth and low delay can the car-road-people realize the so-called "real-time intercommunication".

Of course, the typical application scenarios supporting the 5 G car networking are not limited to autonomous driving, including ar navigation, fatigue driving monitoring, real-time road navigation and other applications, which will all achieve qualitative improvement under the empowerment of 5 G.
