Clinical medicine specialty (eight-year program)

I. Training objectives

Implement eight-year consistency, integration of knowledge and practice, overall optimization, strengthen physical and chemical foundation, and pay attention to the improvement of comprehensive quality and the cultivation of clinical ability. Cultivate good ideological and moral character, humanistic quality and noble professional ethics; Have solid basic theoretical knowledge; Master the basic methods of medical research and systematic clinical medical theory; High-level medical talents who are innovative, creative and entrepreneurial, meet the needs of economic and social development and have international competitiveness and development potential.

Educational system: eight years

Third, the curriculum and teaching arrangements.

Compulsory courses are divided into three parts: public basic courses, medical basic courses and medical professional courses. The teaching arrangement is divided into five stages. In the first stage, students can study in the School of Biological Sciences or the School of Chemistry according to their own wishes.

The first stage: 1 ~ 4 semester public basic courses and medical basic courses;

The second stage: basic medical courses in the 5 th to 8 th semesters, basic medical project design, implementation and thesis defense;

The third stage: 9 ~ 13 medical specialized courses;

The fourth stage: 14 to 15 clinical practice;

The fifth stage: 16 semester, two disciplines and personalized training, graduation thesis.

Four, professional backbone (core) courses

1. Main disciplines: basic medicine and clinical medicine.

2. Main course:

Public basic courses: English, mathematics, physics, chemistry, computer application;

Basic medical courses: human anatomy, histology and embryology, cell biology, physiology, biochemistry, pharmacology, medical microbiology, pathology, pathophysiology, medical immunology and molecular biology;

Medical specialized courses: diagnostics, internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, epidemiology, neurology and traditional Chinese medicine.

Five, the main experimental and practical teaching requirements

Basic biology experiment, physiological experiment, biochemical experiment, molecular biology experiment, medical microbiology experiment, medical immunology experiment, pathology experiment, pharmacological experiment, general physical examination and surgical basic operation training, two disciplines training. 40 weeks of bedside practice teaching and 50 weeks of clinical practice.
