The Traffic Police Corps of Fujian Provincial Public Security Department belongs to Fujian Provincial Public Security Department. The corps consists of political department, supervision department, office, insurance department, traffic control department, vehicle management office, senior management department, propaganda department, legal department, science and technology department, and traffic police detachments of Fuzhou, Putian, Quanzhou, Xiamen, Zhangzhou, Longyan, Sanming, Nanping and Ningde expressways.

First, under the leadership of the Provincial Public Security Department, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China, responsible for the management of road traffic safety in the province;

Guide the traffic management department of the public security organs in the province to maintain the road traffic safety order, guide the development of related businesses such as the prevention and treatment of road traffic accidents in the province, and coordinate and participate in the handling of extraordinarily serious road traffic accidents. To inspect and supervise the law enforcement activities of traffic management departments of public security organs at all levels in the province and traffic police;

Three, organize and guide the province to carry out road traffic safety publicity and education. Organize the feasibility demonstration and technical appraisal of road traffic safety management projects and technical equipment in the whole province. Coordinate the computer network construction and management of the traffic management department of the provincial public security organs. Organize to investigate the problems existing in road traffic safety management and put forward corresponding suggestions;

Four, according to the guidance, inspection and supervision of the province's vehicles (excluding tractors) management. Responsible for the examination and approval of the registration of imported motor vehicles in the province, and supervise the issuance of imported motor vehicle licenses in the province. Responsible for the supervision and issuance of relevant license plates, certificates, watches, seals and plates of motor vehicles (excluding tractors, the same below) in the province. Responsible for the examination, registration and management of police vehicles in the province, other non-police vehicles of public security organs (O brand) and vehicles of provincial organs (K brand). Responsible for determining the business scope of motor vehicle registration handled by the traffic management department of county-level public security organs in the province;

Five, according to the guidance, inspection and supervision of the province's motor vehicle driver examination certification work. Responsible for the training, examination and certification of motor vehicle driving examiners in the province and the production of relevant certificates, cards and forms for motor vehicle driving licenses. Responsible for planning the setting and layout of the examination room for motor vehicle drivers in the province;

Six, responsible for the provincial traffic police corps organs and the province's highway traffic safety management funds audit, budget, use, distribution and equipment planning, ordering, distribution and clothing management, distribution, radio communication network and other work. ;

Seven, responsible for the province's highway traffic safety management;

Eight, participate in the planning of road traffic and road traffic safety facilities;

Nine, responsible for the provincial traffic police corps organs, the province's highway traffic police personnel management and ideological and political education and discipline inspection and supervision work, organize and guide the province's public security traffic police business training;

Ten, to undertake other tasks assigned by the superior.
