What Meng often talks about is bringing rice cookers into Hong Kong. At first, he sold rice cookers to Hong Kong people, but nobody cared. At that time, the market was monopolized by European and American brands, but he did not give up. He knocked on the door from door to door and even put an advertisement in the newspaper. In the end, the rice cooker was accepted by Hong Kong people and became famous internationally. At that time, Meng not only changed the "cooking" mode of Hong Kong people, but also subverted the design of rice cookers. China people like steaming R when cooking, but uncovering the lid will affect the texture of rice, so Meng suggested making a lid with glass to let users know whether the rice is cooked or not. According to the data of Xinxing Group, the import volume of Lesheng rice cookers was only 100 in 1960, and it had surged to about 90,000 in 1965. The rice cookers sold by Shunxing account for 1.5% of the total export of Panasonic rice cookers. At present, rice cookers have become a necessity for Hong Kong people. Shunxing has sold more than10 million rice cookers. If these rice cookers are lined up, they can be as long as 3000 kilometers.
