How do ordinary people get through the 35-year-old workplace crisis?
Sorry, we only recruit employees under the age of 35, which is definitely a source of anxiety for us humble workers. Whether in the so-called "iron rice bowl" post or in the "big factory" that many young people yearn for, the workplace crisis of middle age is always there. So, as an ordinary person, what can we do to ease our anxiety and get through the 35-year-old workplace smoothly?

First of all, I think the most important thing is to build a sense of anxiety, not self-anxiety. Mentality is very important. After all, in addition to the 35-year workplace crisis, some Internet "big factories" have begun to lay off employees regardless of age, so since you have chosen such a challenging job, you should be prepared to give up halfway. Although I don't work in the internet industry, my company is also facing the turmoil of layoffs, bankruptcy and restructuring this year. These are all sudden. Although it didn't have much impact on me for the time being, it also sounded the alarm.

Second, do a good job in career planning. The older you get, the more you need life planning; The more you think about the road ahead, the more wrong you are. One of my seniors chose to leave the first-tier city where he worked for five or six years last year and went back to his hometown to be admitted to the civil service. This is his way of coping with the coming workplace crisis. However, the crisis within the system is not without it, and he is also voicing the issue of salary and promotion. When several of our friends exchanged these things, they all lamented that sideline business might be normalized. Personally, if you want to choose a sideline in real life for a long time, you may choose to continue teaching some hobbies or arts, and it is good to switch to the main business when necessary.

? Finally, pay attention to the choice. At the beginning of the choice, unless you really love it, try to choose some jobs that are not so sensitive to age. If we know that some companies may have a 35-year career pit, we either don't step on it at all or try to make ourselves irreplaceable in the company. But I think the latter is too idealistic. In the modern society with elite participation, for most companies, fresh blood and all kinds of talents are never lacking. Therefore, it is suggested to do some creative sideline work outside the main business, which is difficult to be replaced, and the threshold is not high, and even the income may crush the main business. For example, from the media, authors or designers who are very popular now.

The cause will never be smooth sailing from the beginning, and it will always be full of thorns. Each of us is also struggling for survival in constant exploration. This process is really difficult. I wish everyone can save the day and get through every crisis in life smoothly.
