Dalian Submarine School: The Dalian Naval Academy of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy belongs to the Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy. It mainly undertakes undergraduate education for naval surface ship growth commanding officers and surveying and mapping, marine growth technical officers, primary training for surface ship active officers, auxiliary training for surface ship active officers and naval political work, postgraduate education, new equipment training and foreign military students' education. It is an A-B authorized training unit of China International Hydrographic Surveyor, an A-level authorized training unit of international nautical chartists, and a world "double-A" training unit. It is also a key construction institution under the overall conditions of the "2 1 10 Project" of the whole army, and a key construction institution for postgraduate education.

Dalian Communication NCO School of the Air Force: China People's Liberation Army Air Force Communication NCO School is the name of a newly-built college after the reform of the China Army. The Air Force Communications NCO School was established on 1986 on the basis of the former shenyang military area command Air Force Communications Teaching Team. The school is located in Jinpu New District, Dalian, bordering on Daheishan in the north and Dalian Bay in the south, with mountains and rivers. It is the main position to train air force information and communication noncommissioned officers. The school is mainly aimed at training non-commissioned officers with professional post skills such as communication, navigation, command information system, electromagnetic spectrum management, communication and navigation countermeasures, and training management non-commissioned officers for the Air Force.
