Baotou Science and Technology Children's Palace (formerly Qingshan Children's Palace) is located at No.8, Ziyou Road/KLOC-0, Qingshan District, Baotou City, with a total construction area of nearly 20,000 square meters, with six main floors and seven local floors, surrounded by open parks, with a total investment of more than 85 million yuan. With more than 8,500 students and 240 faculty members, the Children's Palace has become a first-class off-campus activity place for young people in the established youth activity centers in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and even in western China. It is also the first children's palace featuring science and technology in China.

Baotou Science and Technology Children's Palace (formerly Qingshan Children's Palace) is one of the main youth activity centers in Baotou City. Baotou Science and Technology Children's Palace has a total construction area of nearly 20,000 square meters, with six main floors and seven local floors, surrounded by open parks, with a total investment of more than 85 million yuan.
With more than 8,500 students and 240 faculty members, the Children's Palace has become a first-class off-campus activity place for young people in the established youth activity centers in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and even in western China. In recent years, the Science and Technology Children's Palace has given full play to the role of the main front of off-campus education. Up to now, the Children's Palace has carried out a variety of activities for more than 1 10,000 children and provided a stage for interest cultivation and social practice for more than 300,000 primary and secondary school students in Baotou. After its completion, it has organized and undertaken many large-scale activities 1000, such as the National Youth Aerospace Model Championship, the Science and Technology Education Business Training Meeting of China Youth Science and Technology Counselors Association, the National Teachers' Day teaching materials, the image of famous professors, education experts and outstanding teachers, and the second Go Amateur Competition in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. history
Baotou Science and Technology Children's Palace, formerly known as Qingshan District Youth Home, was established in 1963. /kloc-moved to the east of Nalin Commercial Building, No.6 Wenhua Road1in October, and the Youth Home in Qingshan District was officially renamed the Children's Palace in Qingshan District. In April 2006, the Education Bureau of Baotou City and the editorial office of Baotou City issued a document to transfer the Youth Home to Qingshan District.
Since 2000, the Children's Palace has entered a period of rapid development, the scale of activities has been expanding, and the social benefits have become increasingly remarkable. Combined with the economic development strategy of "two belts and one district" in Qingshan District and the needs of the long-term development of Children's Palace, the Qingshan District Party Committee and District Government decided to expand the scale and rebuild the Children's Palace in Qingshan District.
From June 5438 to February 2005, the Children's Palace in Qingshan District was temporarily moved to Diansanjian Middle School, Wen Xue Road Primary School, Hadadao Primary School, Guangrong Road Primary School and Jinlin Garden School from 6 1 Wenhua Road. At the beginning of July 2008, it officially moved to the new address of Liberty Road 18.
In the summer of 2008, Hu Ercha, the former mayor of Baotou and now deputy director of the People's Congress of the autonomous region, personally presented the Young Pioneers with the golden key of the Children's Palace, which opened the door of the Science and Technology Children's Palace and officially opened it to 60,000 children in Qingshan District.
Setting major
The Children's Palace now offers 26 majors, including science and technology, piano, electronic organ, fine arts, dance, accordion, jazz drum, violin, saxophone, guzheng, pipa, erhu, vocal music, flute, host, English, martial arts, table tennis and Latin dance, with more than 400 interest activity groups and more than 4,000 registered students all the year round, forming all-round training and activities.
