Through the warehouse management training course that I attended in Yijia last weekend, I feel that I have benefited a lot, and summarize the course content and the aspects that need to be applied in actual operation.
First of all, a qualified and excellent warehouse administrator must have "three questions":
What is your duty? In other words, a qualified warehouse manager must be clear about his responsibilities. Accurately speaking, the responsibilities of material control and warehouse management personnel are: keeping materials, not keeping them, reducing waste, reducing costs, supplying materials in time, ensuring stable production, preparing materials in time and reducing the backlog of funds.
2. Is your management method correct? In other words, you must be clear about the materials we want to manage, and verify the receipt, delivery and return of materials to maintain the correct and normal use of material accounting. In order to ensure the safety of materials, effective management methods and operating procedures must be formulated to determine whether there are standards and whether they meet the standards. After the management methods and standards are determined, they must be familiar with and strictly implemented to ensure the orderly management of materials.
3. What is your evaluation goal? The goal of real material management is to plan materials correctly, manage inventory reasonably, give full play to the role of inventory, ensure product quality and dispose of waste reasonably. To do this well, people need to manage it, but everything that people manage will go wrong. In order to ensure that all materials management is foolproof, we must have a set of strict assessment objectives, so as to truly stimulate the effectiveness of material management and achieve the ultimate goal of material control and management.
Secondly, we need to know the real definition of material management. The work of material management is all-round, not just a matter of keeping materials in good condition, but how to closely combine material management with production planning, both of which are indispensable.
Through this warehouse management training, I really realized that inventory control is a comprehensive combination of the implementation of production material planning, flexible use of existing inventory, safety inventory, customer planned inventory, seasonal inventory and so on. Only by making a good material plan from the aspects of preventing out-of-stock, material backlog cost and inventory management cost can we effectively control and manage warehouse materials. (Establish an inventory analysis team to strengthen the application of ERP in enterprises and the analysis of inventory. The most important thing is to strengthen the communication between departments on inventory and prevent the phenomenon of material breakage. )
The highest level of material control and material management is to make the existing resource efficiency flexible and maximize. At the same time, it is also necessary to put these management methods into management in the future material control and warehouse management, so as to improve management efficiency and achieve management objectives.
