Present situation and countermeasures of rural education in the new period
The change of family attitude directly promotes the development of rural education, and the policy of new rural construction also drives the enthusiasm of rural schools. Compared with urban education, the scope of rural education is much smaller. Due to the development of urbanization in China, more than half of the rural population are willing to live in cities, while rural schools only open junior high schools, and most rural students want to go to towns or counties to attend senior high schools. Therefore, to strengthen investment in rural education means to strengthen investment in primary and junior high school education and ensure the implementation of nine-year compulsory education. Since the autumn of 2008, nine-year compulsory education has been implemented nationwide free of charge, and all school-age children must fulfill this obligation. This policy has enabled farmers' children to enjoy the same right to education, and the economic burden of rural families has been significantly reduced. In recent years, the state has strongly supported college graduates to teach in rural areas, one is to ease the employment pressure of graduates, and the other is to improve the education quality of rural grassroots students. Taking Shaanxi Province as an example, college graduates are organized to take the exam of "Revitalization Plan" every year, and they are sent to practice medicine and teach in rural areas to improve the quality of rural population. Corresponding to other provinces and cities, there are policies such as "three supports and one support" to continuously cultivate grassroots talents in rural areas. Every year, young teachers are sent to teach in rural areas, bringing the most advanced ideas and comprehensive knowledge to rural children and letting them know more about the outside world. The teaching methods of college graduates to rural children are very advanced, and the teaching contents are more abundant. Young teachers will teach in more standard Mandarin and attract students' attention. In addition, the state has also invested heavily in rural education equipment, so that rural students can learn computer, physical education and other courses in an all-round way, so that the education of rural students can truly meet the standards of quality education, and the gap with urban children is getting smaller and smaller. The change of rural education is all-round, from the change of farmers' family concept, free tuition to excellent teachers teaching in rural areas, and then to the comprehensive expansion of curriculum scope. These changes are obvious to all, and there will be more room for development in the future.
