In this activity, I was lucky enough to listen to more than 20 teachers in different classes in our school. Through this activity, I feel that the teachers have handled several elements of the efficiency classroom quite well, which is worthy of deep thinking and serious study in the future teaching process. Among them, Yang Zhijun's classroom thinking is clear, the process is smooth, the links are compact and the activities are rich. It can be said that Teacher Yang showed us the "template" and "model" of the normal English class in junior high school almost perfectly. Confidence is the driving force and the goal is the direction. Full of confidence and clear goals are important factors for the success of English teaching. First of all, teachers should give good lessons. For example, prepare lessons well, thoroughly understand the teaching materials, grasp the key and difficult points, and be targeted. Secondly, teachers should improve teaching efficiency, pay attention to teaching art, activate classroom atmosphere, stimulate learning interests and adopt flexible teaching methods.
English learning must not be blind, but must be carefully and effectively planned. At the same time, teachers should make clear the learning objectives of each stage for students, formulate corresponding measures to ensure the realization of the objectives, strengthen supervision and inspection, and make a summary on this basis. In the teaching process, we should pay attention to the mutual infiltration of ideological education and knowledge teaching, and integrate ideological quality education into knowledge education.
Second, lay a solid foundation, leak and fill a vacancy
English foundation is very important for English learning, especially for students with poor English foundation.
1. Find out the shortcomings and check the gaps.
Missing and filling in the gaps are mainly in pronunciation, vocabulary and daily communication terms. The trap of pronunciation and vocabulary should be carried out in vocabulary teaching. In the process of teaching new words, explain the relevant language knowledge and word pronunciation in time, and summarize the words learned in time; When reviewing, we should be good at analogy, form phonetic categories and word strings, and strive to consolidate uncertain phonetics and vocabulary one by one. The trapping of daily communication terms should be integrated into the language use of the "Four Meetings". We should strive to turn basic knowledge into skills, constantly improve our daily English communication ability, and strive to understand, speak, read and write well.
2. Based on textbooks, lay a solid foundation
In learning, we should learn by stages. The first stage should be based on the syllabus, textbooks and the arrangement order of textbooks. Every book, every unit and every lesson should be carefully studied, and strive to be basic and comprehensive. The so-called foundation refers to grasping the "three basics" in learning, namely basic knowledge, basic skills and basic problem-solving methods. The so-called comprehensive, one refers to the comprehensive coverage of the knowledge learned, not missing any knowledge points, and the other is for all students to prevent the phenomenon of "one-sided pursuit of high scores" and never ignore "poor students."
Third, simulation exercises, comprehensive improvement
After filling the vacancy, students' basic knowledge is more comprehensive, systematic and complete. But the key content should be practiced in the form of special topics in order to further highlight the key points. At the same time, we should strengthen the error-prone points. In order to achieve this goal, teachers should choose high-quality simulation exercises to practice and then make comments. We should carefully analyze and find out the students' mistakes before commenting, and seize these mistakes when commenting in class to help students find out the reasons for the mistakes and correct them in time. At the same time, the evaluation should not focus on the topic, but should grasp the typical topics in the test questions, explain the principles, inductive methods, summarize the laws, and extend and popularize the typical topics. To do this well, we need to pay attention to the following two aspects:
1, textbook, material supplement.
Teaching materials are the foundation, and good teaching materials are an important means to deepen teaching materials and improve ability. No materials can replace textbooks, but materials can highlight the important contents of textbooks and provide advanced ideas and information that keep pace with the times that textbooks do not have. Therefore, whether it is the stage of consolidating the review foundation, or the stage of building a knowledge network and summarizing basic methods and skills, it must be based on textbooks. But at the same time, we should also select typical and targeted materials, which will help students master the methods and laws of solving problems.
2. Combine speaking with practice, and practice is more important than speaking.
The summary of basic knowledge, the construction of knowledge network and the induction of basic methods and skills are inseparable from lectures and practice. Without practice, the knowledge acquired by students is not solid, let alone deepened. Therefore, practice is more important than speaking. Accurately speaking, it is to highlight the key points and grasp the key points; More practice is to let students do enough practice, but to prevent random repetition of practice, targeted.
Correctly grasping the above three points is an effective way to learn English well. Only by letting students establish the confidence to win, lay a solid foundation and practice in a targeted way can the learning effect be improved and they can be invincible in the competition.
Observation Report 2 of English Distance Training Course This time, the school organized an English teacher to go to the experimental primary school to listen to the teacher's wonderful English class. Studying in class is a rare learning opportunity for our young teachers. Through listening to the class, I feel that I have gained a lot in teaching, and there are many places worth learning:
1. Use the media skillfully. The extensive use of multimedia teaching in this course not only gives people a pleasing feeling, but also creates a relaxed and pleasant learning atmosphere and stimulates students' enthusiasm for learning English.
Second, create language situational teaching. In this lesson, Mr. Yu is always creating different scenarios, so that students can understand the language knowledge and content in the scenarios and easily grasp the key points and difficulties of this lesson. Let students practice in different language situations, which is also in line with the requirements of cultivating students' comprehensive language application ability in the new curriculum standard. Especially in the introduction of words such as falling, crying and breaking, Mr. Yu skillfully uses body language and expressions to make students think positively, and students' thinking is extremely active, thus making words easy to solve.
3. Wonderful preheating and introduction, and the teaching process is interlocking. In the classroom, all the children are full of vitality, which comes from the teacher's vivid warm-up and colorful teaching activities, so that students can truly experience and share learning activities. Teacher Yu has stimulated students' interest and enthusiasm in learning English by singing a song, playing games before class, text processing, consolidation and expansion and other activities. Fourth, pay attention to the evaluation of students. First of all, teachers' evaluation language is rich and enlightening. Teacher Yu pays attention to all students and gives "Come on!" Secondly, the teachers divided the students into groups before class and held a series of competitions in the teaching process. Students have a strong interest in learning and can actively participate in English learning activities. Suggestion: 1. In word teaching, we can abandon the traditional mechanical practice and seek more vivid practice methods, such as high and low voices, thick and thin voices and so on.
2. Let students become the masters of the classroom. Explaining knowledge is too detailed, occupying more than half of the classroom teaching time, reducing students' independent thinking and communication between students.
3. Teaching activities such as training should involve all students and get as full training as possible.
4. Learn to correct students' mistakes, give students time to think and learn to wait. Oral evaluation should not be a mere formality, but a true and effective evaluation.
The teacher's ending is sloppy and not novel enough, so we can't just summarize the important and difficult points of this lesson. It is necessary to sublimate the small classroom into a big classroom of life and cultivate students' good emotional attitude and study habits.
I really learned a lot through this lecture. At the same time, I also reflected on my usual teaching. I also thought about several issues, such as how to make students really fall in love with English and how to catch all students in class.
