The Department of Russian and Japanese organizes students to take the CET-4 and CET-8 and the Japanese International Proficiency Test every year, and the passing rate is high in recent years. Russian major and Irkutsk State University of Russia jointly run a school; Japanese majors exchange students with Toyama University and Kitakyushu University in Japan. Students can study abroad for one to two years, and some students have become doctoral students. In addition to university scholarships, students with excellent academic performance can also receive "Toyama Friendship Memorial Scholarship in Liaoning Province", "Kalebi Scholarship" and "Sumitomo Scholarship".
There are 150 students in Russian and Japanese departments, and the distribution trend of students' graduation is good. Training objectives and employment direction: this major trains senior talents who have a solid foundation in Japanese linguistics and Japanese literature theory and can engage in Japanese language and literature research and teaching in research institutions and teaching departments in the future, as well as specialized talents engaged in foreign trade, tourism, foreign affairs, publishing and other fields.

Remarks: Japanese Department is located in Yi Dao Campus, affiliated to Foreign Languages College. Nowadays, there are no good jobs in universities, and they all rely on their own abilities. No matter how good the school is, it will not succeed if it does not seize the opportunity by itself. This school is ok and worth attending.
