Making skills of creative mud
Humidity: Some fresh mud is wet, so it is easy to stick to hands when taken out. At this time, you can knead it a few times to gather the mud, or take it apart before using it and let it dry for a while, which will make it drier and easier to operate.

Bonding: Wet mud can be bonded at will, wet mud and dry mud can be bonded, but dry mud can't. You need to stick a piece of wet mud on the mud or apply some glue as a connector before you can stick two pieces of dry mud. In addition, when wet mud is stuck at first, sometimes the mud below will be deformed due to the weight. At this time, you can dry the two parts to be pasted separately, and then insert a toothpick as a connection.

Filling: When making large-scale works, if they are all made of mud, a lot of mud will be consumed. At this time, it can be filled with dry broken mud or foam, which will save a lot of money if the appearance is made of mud. For example, a character's skirt can be rolled into a cone with a paper roll and then decorated on the surface.

Color matching ratio: light mud, such as pink, pink blue, flesh color, etc. , mainly white mud, with a little colored mud. The ratio is about 20: 1 ~ 10: 1, and the colors are mixed evenly after kneading for several times. At first, try to put as little dark mud as possible. If the color density is not enough, add a little more. Different mixing ratios determine the depth of color.

Reuse: if the mud is a little dry when playing, you can add a little water and rub it a few times to restore softness; When the semi-dry mud is recovered, the mud with different colors is classified and cut into sections, put into a container, one third of the mud is soaked in water for one day, and then kneaded to restore the original state; Add two-thirds of water to the completely dried mud and soak it for about two days. Stir the mud with tools every day. When the water absorption is almost the same, knead the mud by hand and restore it to its original state.

Air-drying: Generally speaking, it takes 6-8 hours for mud to be completely air-dried, and it takes longer for big ones. Generally, in the process of playing, the surface of the mud will slowly dry in two or three hours, but the mud inside is still wet.

Writing: Creative mud is mainly made of paper fibers and has some properties of paper. When making some small parts, such as words and small patterns, it is more laborious to use mud. When the mud is dry, you can write or draw on it directly with a colored pen, which is very simple.
