"Nine needles" first appeared in Neijing and Lingshu-the origin of nine needles and twelve points, both of which are recorded in detail. Nine needles are appropriate, each has its own way, length and size, each has its own use, not allowed to use, and the disease can be moved. However, due to historical reasons, Jiuzhen was gradually abandoned by later doctors.

Ishihara is the founder and director of Shaanxi Institute of Acupuncture. He is the chief physician and professor of Chinese medicine. The appearance of "New Nine Needles" has filled a blank in the history of acupuncture and moxibustion in China. It not only expands the scope of acupuncture treatment, but also significantly improves the clinical efficacy. Clinically, the "New Nine Needles" has a significant effect on 160 diseases and more than 30 difficult diseases such as internal and external diseases, gynecology, children, bone injury, skin and facial features. This achievement has won many awards from the Ministry of Health and Shanxi Province.
