I am an old Wuhan native and have never heard of it. It's hard to find authentic Regan Noodles in Wuhan now. The name outside is Cai Regan Noodles, but Wuhan locals don't eat much. Personally, I recommend that the authentic Regan Noodles in Wuhan is in Caijiatian, Hankou. That sesame sauce is definitely pure sesame oil sauce!

But then again, Regan Noodles also has many branches in Wuhan. Whether it's delicious or not depends on personal taste.
