How to do a good job in students' fire safety education
Students are the future builders of the motherland and the hope of the country. In order to enhance students' awareness of safety precautions and comprehensively improve their ability to deal with fire emergencies, our base instills fire knowledge into fifth-grade primary school students through various practical activities and cultural carriers as soon as possible, so that students can participate in practical activities focusing on fire knowledge education, and through systematic theoretical knowledge learning, rich practical operations and various teaching methods, students can understand the importance of fire education through multiple channels. When individual and collective lives are threatened by disasters, teaching students to use knowledge and skills correctly can minimize the disasters. In this way, it not only deepens the connotation of theme education activities, but also effectively implements the educational principle of combining fire education with practice, so that students can achieve the purpose of applying what they have learned, thus achieving a leap in the quality of fire education.

First, strengthen learning, improve teachers' teaching level and change students' learning methods.

Fire education is a new course, but there are so many things to learn to learn this course well that it is hard for us to imagine. Therefore, in order to further improve the level of fire knowledge education, our school has sent people to Zhangjiagang, Nanjing, Suzhou and other practice bases to study their fire safety education. During the study and training, the trainees systematically studied the basic theory of "Three Preventions" knowledge in each base (such as fire prevention, anti-virus, earthquake prevention education in Zhangjiagang and survival education on this basis), teaching guidance, disaster prevention and relief, self-help and mutual rescue knowledge and the production of simple protective equipment. Many times of exchange of learning and education experience changed my previously beautiful and completely inactive learning style, and let the trainees actively participate in fire safety education activities. The process of students collecting information and exchanging fire accident cases is the process of mastering safety knowledge. The process of students grouping and conducting fire simulation drills is the process of forming survival skills; Students experience the use of fire extinguishers in the fire extinguisher use area, which is the process of mastering survival skills. In these processes, students will naturally internalize the values of cherishing life. For example, students' active consciousness, calm expression, attitude of mutual assistance and cooperation and selfless dedication in practice are beyond imagination and amazing.

Second, strengthen the classroom teaching of fire fighting and compile a set of suitable teaching materials.

Classroom teaching is the basic form and one of the most effective means of fire safety education. 1999 Canada began to implement a program called "students and fire education", offering fire education courses from kindergarten to eighth grade to help students deepen their understanding of fires and their consequences. At present, many schools in China do not have a plan for fire safety education, let alone an outline of fire safety education, which is not normalized and institutionalized, and there is no guarantee for class hours. In order to change this situation, according to the physical and mental characteristics of students of different ages, we should take fire safety as a compulsory course for students, choose education methods suitable for students of different grades, improve the quality of education, and let students learn to use fire knowledge to resist fire injuries. Classroom education should have good teaching materials. Can the relevant departments proceed from reality, compile a set of fire education and training materials suitable for primary and secondary school students, formulate an outline of fire safety education as soon as possible, make specific and clear provisions on the content, class hours and teaching objectives of school fire safety education, form a systematic and standardized school fire safety education system, and form a unified national authoritative fire safety education textbook and fire reading materials suitable for all ages, so that the teaching materials can be unified in professionalism and education, so that schools can actively, independently and persistently carry out as required.

Three, personal practice, improve safety awareness, do a good job in fire safety publicity.

According to students' initiative, it is one of the essential means to let students participate in the process of fire safety education. Therefore, schools can be equipped with fire-fighting experience facilities such as escape experience devices, kitchen fire demonstration experience devices, analog circuit fire demonstration facilities, simulated fire extinguisher demonstration devices, and simulated fire alarms, so that students can participate in the "actual combat experience", not only learning the theoretical knowledge of fire safety, but also constantly improving their fire-fighting escape skills and becoming participants in fire safety. Improve safety awareness and do a good job in fire safety publicity. The tragic fire accident warns us that the fire is as fierce as a tiger, especially the social impact and losses caused by disasters are immeasurable. Therefore, we must fully understand the importance of fire safety publicity. We must fully realize that schools are the best positions to carry out fire safety publicity, and students are the best targets for publicity and education. Fire safety education begins with students, and then affects adults through "small hands and big hands", further enhancing students' sense of social security responsibility and mission.

Fourth, choose appropriate teaching methods to ensure the effectiveness of fire education and teaching.

In the process of implementing fire safety education for primary school students, it is very important to adopt flexible learning methods and choose appropriate teaching methods. So in class, I designed simulation experience, discussion, competition, performance, publicity and other learning methods for students. In teaching, first of all, with its initiative, I use role-playing teaching method to organize students to practice fire alarm; Secondly, with the help of his curiosity, the situational teaching method is used to simulate the campus fire scene and organize students to have a novel escape experience; Thirdly, with the help of students' competitiveness, task-driven method and evaluation incentive method are adopted to set tasks for each group of students, and through group competition, students' desire to win is stimulated; Finally, with the help of students' strong memory, multimedia teaching methods and intuitive demonstration methods, through intuitive education, students can learn how to put out fires and use fire extinguishers. Only by choosing appropriate teaching methods, deepening primary school students' understanding of fire protection knowledge, and transforming theoretical knowledge into intuitive and easy to understand, can teaching effectiveness be fully exerted.

Fifth, improve students' enthusiasm for learning by holding skill competitions.

Our city organizes survival skills competitions for primary and middle school students every year 10, and improves students' enthusiasm to participate in learning through activities such as knowledge quiz, speech contest, fracture fixation and fire extinguisher competition. Fire safety education is life education. In teaching activities, students are always the main body, and what students think, learn and feel is the key to teaching. Think what they think and give them what they think, so that they can enter their hearts, make fire safety education their favorite course, and make fire safety education courses play an important role in the development of their viability. Everyone knows that "hidden danger is more dangerous than open fire, prevention is more effective than disaster relief, and responsibility is heavier than Mount Tai", but fire accidents still happen from time to time, and the fire safety education course is very suitable for both schools and society. Whether it really works depends on what our teacher does. Strategy research is a teacher's internal strength. Only by correct analysis and practice can the course objectives be truly realized.
