Shenzhen Institute of International Education, established in 2003, is a full-time international high school authorized by Cambridge Examinations Institute (CIE), International School Committee (CIS) and Edexcel.
This school is managed by foreign experts, including the headmaster. It is an accredited school of the International School Alliance (CIS) and a member school of the East Asian Council of International Schools (EARCOS) and the Asian English Schools Foundation (FOBISIA).
The daily teaching contents of Shenguojiao include: the improvement of students' academic ability and thinking training, the exploration of interests and potentials, emotional development and emotional management, physical growth and talent development, the establishment of civic awareness and the fulfillment of social responsibilities, and life planning guidance, so that students can naturally enter their own universities after their education in Shenguojiao, calmly cope with their next studies, and have a calm optimism for the more distant future.

Shenzhen Institute of International Relations selects teachers on a global scale. The teaching staff is roughly divided into three parts: foreign teachers, returned students and local teachers. At present, there are 95 full-time academic teachers in Shenzhen, including 57 foreign teachers, mostly from Britain, the United States, Australia, Canada and other places, who are academic directors, directors of overseas study guidance centers, and heads of mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, business, history, geography, information technology, English, music and other disciplines (HOD).
More than 10 teachers have returned from studying abroad. They have master's degrees from overseas universities or have been visiting scholars. After years of experience accumulation, the Chinese teaching team has also mastered the syllabus of international schools and become the teaching backbone of all grades in the establishment of diplomatic relations between Shenzhen and China. Since 2003, Shenzhen International Communication University has arranged for teachers to participate in the training organized by Cambridge University Examinations Institute at home and abroad every year.
