About the new style
Newstyle is not a dance, it is a more personalized dance expression.

In the 1990s, hip-hop music began to evolve and develop, and moved away from Funk, becoming slower, heavier and more aggressive. And this new hip-hop music has also spawned new dance forms and styles, and most of these dances are relative to break dancing, without so many floor movements. Later, these dance styles were called new schools or new styles. Break dancing and all kinds of fashionable dances are called old school. Today's street dance is developing in different directions, mainly with the evolution of street dance music. It can be seen on the most popular MV and TV channels such as BET and MTV.

Among the new school dances in recent years, Krumping, Harlem Shake, Snapdance, Clownwalk, Cripwalk, Hyphy and Gangsta Walking are unique and popular.

Nowadays, many dance studios provide a variety of street dance teaching. They may focus on a certain dance teaching such as break dancing, or they may combine various dance styles. Hip-hop, as a kind of dance with a wide range of genres, teachers have great freedom in teaching and personal deduction, which often leads to the doping of their own styles in teaching, even including other dance forms, such as jazz dance.

Some people criticize that this studio dance is too rigorous and choreographed, thus losing many important contents of street dance, such as students' personal interpretation of music and improvisation of dance. Despite this controversy, today, studio-style street dance is still widely accepted.

Let me briefly introduce the new style dance moves that are popular today.

C-Walk: C-walk is short for Crip walk or clown walk. Crip Walk first appeared in Compton, south-central Los Angeles, California. This is a gang ceremony, and it is also the street code of the gang. Clown walking evolved from lame walking. Clown walking follows many basic steps of lame walking, and adds more elements. The walking speed is faster than that of lame walking, which makes clown walking more gorgeous and wonderful than that of lame walking. Although the clown walk itself is developed from the lame walk, it has nothing to do with gangs, but is a kind of public entertainment. Of course, the clown's walk has been improved and entered the contemporary street dance. The clown's walk has been improved and entered the contemporary street dance. Clowns pay attention to improvisation and originality. You should have your own style and avoid copying other people's actions. It's not difficult to learn the clown's walk, you just need some practice. Most dance classes don't teach clowns to walk, because most dance classes don't treat clowns as dances. A better way to learn is to find some videos of clowns walking on YOUTUBE, Tudou, 56 and other video websites, or find a friend who can dance clowns walking to give you some guidance.

Krumping:Krumping, also known as Get Buck, is a relatively free, expressive and explosive form of street dance. It originated in the poor black community in south-central Los Angeles and is full of gangs and violence. It is a move by local dancers to release anger and oppose violence. As early as 1992, Tommy the Clown began to perform clown dances for children in the community, and taught them to stay away from gangs and violence and join his clown street dance team. Later, more and more children joined in, and there were more and more clown street dance teams. The content of Hip Hop clown performance is roughly the performance of some clowns plus some elements of Hip Hop dance, including clown walking, stripper dancing, bouncing, thigh dancing and so on. It was not until 2002 that the prototype of Krumping began to appear. In 2003, Tight Eyez, Lil-C and others in the clown team began to leave the clown team and develop Krumping, calling themselves Krumpers to distinguish them from hip-hop clowns. This is the origin of Krumping. Krumping is a new kind of dance, which was first seen in the MV of some big-name hip-hop singers, such as Hey Mama in black eyed peas and I really hot in missy elliott. Outkast is the way you move. In 2005, a documentary called Rize made Krumping known to the public and was crazy about it. Up to now, more and more friends at home and abroad like Krumping, and they have tried Get Buck and recorded it and uploaded it to the video website.

Snapdance: A new branch of Snaprap music, which was formed in Atlanta, Georgia. It's similar to dirty southern style inferior wine. Snapping fingers comes from snapping fingers. A long time ago, when people created hip-hop music, they clicked their fingers to simulate the rhythm. This kind of songs will contain obvious drums and discs, bass, ring finger, main melody and singing parts in the melody. This kind of music is mostly used in nightclubs. Compared with dance music, its slow rhythm is extremely soft and weak. There has been a constant debate about the true origin of snap. Rap groups Dem Franchize Boyz and D4L, as well as the famous producer Mr. Collipark, all claimed to be the founders.

There are four kinds of dances corresponding to snap music. They are Poole Palace, West Side Walking, Riding and Quickstep. Snap's dance is very simple. Different artists have different descriptions of this. For example, Lil' Jon means "Snap ya Fingaz, Do ya Step", snap your fingers and jump up your dance steps, while Dem Franchize Boyz means "Lean wit it Rock wit it lean over and shake it again". Basically, this kind of dance is to snap your fingers and lean back according to the music, so that your arms and body can make corresponding movements, and you can add a little footwork if necessary.

Many popular snapshot music songs have specific snapshot actions, such as

Dem Francci Ze Boyce-"Lean on it and shake it".

Jim jones's We Fly High,

Lill Jon w/ E-40, Sean Paul of Young Blades-"Snap your fingers"

MIMS's-"That's why I'm hot",

Unk-"Go out".

D4L-Lafite Toffee

Soulja Boy crank data

There are many SNAP dances in the MV of these songs.

At the same time, these songs are quite popular in recent years and are very suitable for SNAP dance music.

Gangster walking: Gangster walking is often called Buckin, Jookin, or Choppin. Gangsta Walking, as a kind of street dance, originated in Memphis, Tennessee, USA in 1980s. It is a dance form for local young people to express themselves and entertain themselves. Popular in local streets or dance halls. This dance mainly includes a large number of action elements such as sliding, sliding, current, fluctuation, rotation and rotation. It looks fantastic.

Hyphy dance: Also known as Giggin, Turfin or Turf Dancing, it is a kind of dance created by young people on the streets of Oakland, California, including complicated steps and smooth hand movements, inspired by the idea of "becoming dumb" in Hyphy sports. Hyphy dance is equivalent to krumping in south-central Los Angeles for Oakland.

Harlem Shake: Harlem Shake was originally named Albee, and it didn't become popular until G-Dep appeared in his MV Let's Get It in 200 1 year.

Although this dance didn't become popular until around 2000, it was first born in Harlem, new york in the early 1980s.

In the summer of 2006, a dance called chicken noodle soup was popular all over the United States. This dance also came from Harlem and evolved from harlem shake.

In addition, in recent years, many popular Hip Hop MV have appeared dances specially made for song MVs, and these dances are also quite popular in various places, such as Crank That, Aunt Jackie, Walk It Out, Chicken Noodle Soup and so on.
