Construction technology and procedure of geotextile laying
1, storage, transportation and treatment of geotextiles
Before installation and deployment, geotextile rolls should be protected from damage. Geotextile rolls should be piled up in a flat place without water, and the pile height should not exceed the height of four rolls, and the identification sheet of the rolls can be seen. Geotextile rolls must be covered with opaque materials to prevent ultraviolet aging. During storage, the integrity of labels and data should be maintained.
During the transportation process (including the transportation from the material storage place to the work place), it is necessary to avoid damaging the geotextile roll.
Physically damaged geotextile rolls must be repaired. Seriously worn geotextiles cannot be used. Any geotextile in contact with leaked chemical reagents is not allowed to be used in engineering.
2, geotextile laying method:
2. 1 is a hand scroll; The surface of cloth should be smooth, with appropriate deformation allowance.
2.2 The installation of filament or short silk geotextile usually adopts several methods such as lapping, sewing and welding. The width of splicing and welding is generally above 0. 1m, and the lap width is generally above 0.2M Geotextiles that may be exposed for a long time should be welded or spliced.
2.3 stitching of geotextile
All stitching must be done continuously (for example, point stitching is not allowed). Geotextiles must overlap at least 150 mm before overlapping. The minimum sewing distance from the cloth edge (the exposed edge of the material) is at least 25mm.
Sewn geotextile joints include 1 lines and chain joints. The thread used for sewing should be a resin material with a minimum tension exceeding 60N, and it has chemical corrosion resistance and ultraviolet resistance equivalent to or exceeding that of geotextile.
Any "missing needle" on the stitched geotextile must be stitched again at the affected place.
After installation, corresponding measures must be taken to prevent soil, particulate matter or foreign matter from entering the geotextile layer.
The lap joint of cloth can be divided into natural lap joint, seam joint or welding according to the terrain and use function.
2.4 During construction, the geotextile on the geomembrane naturally overlaps, and the geotextile on the upper geomembrane is stitched or welded by hot air. Hot air welding is the first connection method of filament geotextile, that is, the connection of two pieces of cloth is heated at high temperature instantly with a hot air gun, so that some of them reach a molten state and are firmly bonded together immediately under a certain external force. In wet (rain and snow) weather, geotextile should adopt another method-sewing connection, that is, using special sewing machine and chemical purple-proof double-thread sewing connection.
Lateral suture.
The minimum width for sewing is 10cm, the minimum width for natural lap joint is 20cm, and the minimum width for hot air welding is 20cm.
