An Overview of The Insect Story of Peacock Butterfly
The peacock butterfly is the largest butterfly in Europe. It has a chestnut velvet coat and a white fur tie. Its wings are decorated with gray spots and there is a huge eye spot in the center. They feed on the twigs of willow and birch, and the larvae dig holes in the bark to hide, which can reach twice the size of pupal insects. Adults break out of cocoons and become beautiful butterflies, but their life span is very short, only in the breeding season. Peacock butterfly conveys the passion of life and the persistence of pursuing spouse through the dance of life.
