What would you do if your child had no first choice?

Many people are not gossiping people, but since they have children, they unconsciously start gossiping about other people's children's information: how is the child growing? What school do you go to? What interest classes do you study? Then secretly compare whether your children are behind? I know it's bad, but I can't help it.

Some parents spend a lot of money to buy school districts from the birth of their children, and spend a lot of money to enroll their children in various early education classes and interest classes. Going to school is not only for children, but also for parents, their vision, status, strength and energy.

This is the case in the Mainland, and Hong Kong is no exception.

Although Hong Kong's promotion to primary schools is unified allocation, many hereditary students are admitted by independent allocation (according to Hong Kong policy, students whose parents work in schools and whose siblings are studying in schools must be admitted). Relatively speaking, children who do not have this condition have fewer opportunities.

The daughter is the first child, and first-time parents are usually nervous. So since kindergarten, she has been arranged to participate in various competitions and interest classes to prepare for the interview.

It's a pity that the distribution of my daughter's primary school was not ideal six years ago. Fortunately, all the previous preparations were used in the end, but I would rather never use them. Anxiety, worry, disappointment and joy in the middle of entering a higher school, all kinds of tastes are only known to parents who have experienced it.

After having a second child, I also consider that I can enjoy this kind of welfare. At least I don't have to worry about going to kindergarten and primary school. Just read with my sister.

My son goes to primary school this year. Due to the the Year of the Loong effect, many students who studied with him were not assigned to the first three volunteers, some volunteered for the seventh and eighth, and some even were the last. They were in the worst school in the same district, watching other parents and classmates rush for their degrees, and they were very worried. I experienced their anxiety six years ago.

My daughter entered middle school this year, and the distribution results will be announced on July 10. Although she has achieved 1, she is still worried that she will not go to her favorite school because of her bad luck. A thousand places, there must be children who can't do it. Fortunately, I have learned to comfort myself now. The loss of Theon Of Smyrna's horse is a blessing in disguise.

Most parents pay more attention to secondary education, and six years really has a great impact. When children go to a school with a good school spirit, at least they should not be studious and bad. I think after the distribution results are announced, many parents will knock on the door with their children everywhere to see if there is any last hope.

There are only a few knocking places left in the school. If you choose a few out of hundreds of students, some people will be disappointed. I hope parents will not pass this anxiety on to their children.

Parents are nervous about entering middle school. Since primary school, they have arranged to participate in various interest classes and extracurricular activities, from dynamic to static, from individuals to groups. Children will also be arranged to take part in competitions and exams, because what awards they have won, what certificates they have obtained, and even some social services, all of which account for a certain percentage of the scores in the entrance interview.

If others learn, their children should also learn. In a word, they should not lose to others. If there is comparison, there will be differences, and if there is difference, there will be harm. Parents verbally say that we don't compare with others, but in fact, we will still compare silently in our hearts. The anxiety after comparison is directly reflected in the attitude towards children's education.

Parents with average grades want their children to work hard and see if they can reach the band of 1. Parents of band 1 want their children to go to the best schools in Hong Kong.

Every parent wants his children to go further, but there will be disappointment if there is hope. There are more than 30 people in a class, and there must be first and last place. Most of the students have only achieved results that match his ability, but they are not as good as others.

In fact, some parents don't really care whether their children do well in the exam, but whether their children are better than others. If others send it well, they will feel bad, but if others send it badly, they will feel good, and they are glad that they are not the worst one.

I'm also the one who can't avoid customs. Fortunately, I experienced it six years ago, and now I can face it calmly. Of course I hope to be assigned the first choice. If I can't do it, I will gladly accept it. After all, as parents and children, we have worked very hard, and schools that have not been assigned can only say that they are unlucky.
