My father, my family prose
Father is now in his seventies. His life is full of twists and turns, and his body records the difficult history of my family.

19xx, my father was born in the activity village of Shangsha Town, Jiexi County, Guangdong Province. Due to the war and natural disasters, my grandfather's family moved to Jiangxi in the first month of 19xx. My father was only five years old at that time.

When my father was young, his family was particularly poor. His two brothers have never been to school and know nothing. In order to change the status quo, grandpa scrimped and saved for his father to study. After graduating from junior high school, you can't continue to provide it. This level, at that time, was also a cultural person. So in the late 1950s, he was recruited by the state to be a primary school teacher. Because the teacher's status was too low at that time and his family was too poor, he had to give up educational administration and make a living from agriculture all his life. This abandonment of religion changed the fate of his life.

At that time, the situation at home was very bad and I always wanted to change it by moving. My family has lived in several towns for a short time, and it has been unsatisfactory. /kloc-in the winter of 0/9xx, my family moved to Taliling, Wenfeng East Village, Jishui. The place is low-lying and the water often rises. Farmland is often flooded and sometimes there is no harvest. In case of flood, people have to pick wild fruits to satisfy their hunger, or even to avoid them. In order to survive the famine, our parents decided to separate our three brothers and foster them in relatives' homes, leaving only our young sister with us. My eldest brother went to Aunt Qiubei Jincheng's house, I went to Uncle Yi's house in Wujiang (my father became sworn brothers since childhood), and my third brother went to Grandma Qiubei's house. When we leave, we are inseparable, Lacrimosa. However, we went at last.

/kloc-in the first month of 0/9xx, with the help of my uncles, my family moved to Changfu Village in Qiupi. We live in a deep ditch, a broken thatched cottage abandoned by others. The broken cottage is really broken. Although my parents have mowed the grass, the hateful mice dig holes everywhere, and the mud house has been in disrepair for a long time. When it began to rain, the whole family had nowhere to live, so they had to hide under the eaves of the door until dawn. That bleak scene, even if Du Fu was reincarnated, would shake his head and sigh.

As time goes by, we finally grow up slowly, and it's time to go to school. Father bought some pens and paper to teach us to read. My father's handwriting is very good. I remember that he first taught us the words "sharp knife, inch talent, tick sentence, private peace" for us to distinguish and describe. This laid the foundation for our later study.

Because of his good handwriting, my father is the busiest during the Spring Festival every year. Neighbors and even neighboring villages will ask him to write couplets, and he will come home very late. For this reason, my mother also complained a lot, however, he always laughed it off.

A few years later, the situation at home improved slightly and a new mud house was built. But the rich land is barren, and the family always makes ends meet. After the birth of my brother and sister, our family became more difficult. The team has been overspending for many years, and there is always not enough food. Parents have planted many sweet potatoes instead of food. Father often takes us to weed, pull out seedlings and fertilize. In the harvest season, the whole family was in high spirits, even the sweet potato roots were spared, and all of them were taken home, weighing several thousand kilograms. When we come back from school, we often chop wood while eating sweet potatoes.

After all, the land that grows rich is too barren, which is not conducive to family development. Luoxian village (the village where grandma lives) has fertile land and needs to recruit people. So with the help of my uncles, my family moved to Luoxian on 1980, and we have lived there ever since.

After the property was distributed to households, my parents got up early and worked hard, and our brothers and sisters were also very sensible and helped the family. Life has improved, the problem of eating has been basically solved, and thatched houses have become tile houses. Father's face is much more smiling.

1982, I was admitted to the county key middle school, and my father was very happy. On the first day of school, it rained heavily, and before dawn, my father took the early bus with me. I was carrying a schoolbag, and he had an umbrella in his hand and a meal on his shoulder (at that time, all the students in Jishui Middle School cooked by themselves). He was in high spirits and didn't go home until I got on the bus and walked away. That year, my third brother was admitted to the school in Baishui. There is no through train from home to school, so we can only take the path and climb several mountains. My brother was still young at that time, and it was very difficult to pick things. Father helped him pick them all the way and sent them to school. It's hard, but I'm happy to see my child promising.

In this way, the home is getting better every day. We have grown up, and our academic performance has been very good. Finally, my brother and I were admitted to the university. After getting the university admission notice, the family hosted a banquet, and neighbors from all over the country came to congratulate. People watched with envy, father was overjoyed, and mother was too excited to speak.

After we graduated from college, the situation at home was better. One by one, our brothers and sisters got married and their jobs improved. I have been teaching in a middle school. Third brother works hard and is now a university professor. My sister has been teaching for many years since she graduated from normal school. Now she has graduated from graduate school and has become a university teacher.

It is particularly gratifying that my father did not continue his education in those years and was taken over by us. Now there are five teachers, three brothers, two couples, a little sister and a young husband in my family. Together with my middle school teacher, our family has become a veritable teacher's home.

The children are all mature, but the father is old. Now he is pale and white-haired. God bless him, he is still healthy, and now he is with his mother to help fourth brother look after the house. We sometimes take him to live in the city, and in a few days, we are in a hurry to go back. He can't leave that home, nor can he leave that land.

Oh, that's my father and that's my home.
