Xinyang Vocational and Technical College is a full-time public vocational college approved by the Henan Provincial People's Government and filed by the Ministry of Education, covering an area of more than 2,000 mu. In May 2004, it was formed by the merger of Xinyang Normal School, Xinyang Education College and Xinyang Health School. In August 2009, Xinyang Business School was merged into the College.
