The school began enrolling students on September 1 2005, with 476 students enrolled for the first time and organized into 8 classes. Qujing No.1 Middle School sent three school-level leaders (principal, vice-principal and assistant to the principal), and the teaching staff were inspected and hired from the fresh graduates of Fuyuan County middle schools and universities. More than 100 fresh graduates from Southwest Normal University, Sichuan Normal University, Harbin Normal University, Jilin Normal University and Yunnan Normal University signed intentional employment agreements with our school. By September 2007, there will be more than 230 in-service teachers and more than 4,500 students in our school.
