Introspective parenting time

Excerpted from the teacher's sharing,

Many ideas happen to coincide,

Worth 100 million!

The first thing parents really have to worry about: shaping values

The shaping of values is something that we agree with in our hearts and is the basic standard that a person should have.

For example, in our family, hard work and self-discipline are very important values.

Value looks great, but in fact you need to educate and guide your children from every bit of daily life. It should be noted here that what you pass on to your children is basically not what you said, but what you really agree with and how to do it. If you say one thing and do another, it is very likely that children are also confused about their values.

The second thing parents should teach their children: time management.

As a parent, you may be able to help your child when he is very young, but when he grows up, you don't understand a lot of homework and you don't have time to do it, so you shouldn't help him. So how can he put himself on a good track, study efficiently, do things efficiently and grow up efficiently? The most crucial point is actually time management.

Many adults are confused about time management, so it is sometimes difficult to give children better time management methods.

The third thing parents should teach their children: reading habits

One's life is so long. Even if a person works hard all day, there are only so many people he can see, places he can go and things he can experience personally. If you want your children's world to become very big, to be friends with classics, to be friends with masters, to see the past and present, and to see the whole world, the only thing you can do, and what everyone can do, is reading.

Parents should guide their children to choose suitable books and give them basic reading methods, provided that they understand these basic principles. For example, if you buy a book, you don't read the title of the book, but read the publishing house. For example, reading is not for the pursuit of reading speed, but for mastery.

The fourth thing: exercise habits

This does not mean that every child must be an athlete. In fact, most children will not become athletes, but each child must have one or more sports that he likes and is good at. When I was young, I could take my children to try various sports, such as playing football, playing ball, running and swimming. In the second half of primary school, children can basically decide what they like and what they are good at. After middle school, many children are very busy. But the so-called busy is actually a matter of priorities.

Sports have a high priority. Exercise has many benefits in the process of children's growth, not only for their health, but also for cultivating some excellent qualities, such as the spirit of suffering. Now that the family conditions are very good, the child has no chance to suffer, but in sports, if he wants to win, he will take the initiative to ask himself to suffer. Also, many sports require cooperation with others. In a team, sometimes if you do well, others will lose if they don't. In sports, children will learn how to accept failure
