Chifeng City, a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is a regional central city and a type II big city. Formerly known as Zhaowudamang and Wulanhada, it is located in the southeast of Inner Mongolia, at the junction of Mongolia, Hebei and Liaoning provinces, bordering Chaoyang in the southeast, Chengde in the southwest, Tongliao in the east and Xilin Gol League in the northwest.
