Extended data:

Pigs and Pigs Eat Watermelon is the work of Bao Lei, a famous modern fairy tale writer.

Tang Priest and his disciples went to the Western Heaven to learn Buddhist scriptures, passing through barren hills and fields. The Tang Priest sent the Monkey King to look for fruits and vegetables, and Pig Bajie followed. They didn't go far, and Bajie pretended to have a stomachache, so Wukong had to go alone.

Bajie was about to fall asleep when he saw a big watermelon under the cliff ahead. He quickly moved it to the shade and cut it into four pieces. I ate my own piece first, and I felt dissatisfied, so I thought of various excuses and ate Wukong, Friar Sand and even Master's watermelons.

In order to teach Bajie a lesson, Wukong turned into watermelon skin and followed Bajie all the way back. Watermelon skin deliberately played tricks on Bajie, which caused him to fall down. Finally, Bajie had to admit his mistake in front of Master.

Shooting background of pig eight quit eating watermelon:

19.56 Wan Guchan, one of the three brothers of Wan Family, was infected by the development of animation film creation and inspired by the government's emphasis on animation. He returned to Shanghai from Hong Kong and worked in Shanghai Animation Film Studio. He wanted to realize an idea that had happened-to shoot paper-cut cartoons.

This idea coincides with the idea that American film studios should vigorously develop national style cartoons at that time, and was immediately supported by the then American film studio director Te Wei. At the beginning of 1957, Wan Guchan led Chen, Liu, Xie Yougen, Che Hui, Du Chunfu and Hu Jinqing. Form a paper-cut test group and start preparing paper-cuts. They failed to shoot for the first time, and the characters were not positioned when they were manipulated, so the movements of the characters were very shaky.

1958 begins, and the second beat begins. After more than a year's efforts, the first paper-cut cartoon in China was finally successfully trial-produced in September 1958.
