First, talk about how I chose the early education class, then talk about my feelings after attending the early education class for one year, and finally talk about whether to enroll in the early education class.
How did I choose the early education class? Before choosing an early education institution, I took my baby to experience five offline early education institutions: mygym, Gymboree, Quanyoujia, Nature Tree and Jinruijia. They are all national chain institutions, and each institution also has its own bright spots. In order to avoid the suspicion of promotion, I won't go into details.
Briefly share some of my experiences in choosing early education institutions:
1, institutional brand power.
We must choose a national chain brand with a certain scale, so it is not easy to go bankrupt. After all, the course needs tens of thousands and the cycle is long. If it is a small organization, in case of bankruptcy, money may be wasted.
2. Course experience.
Be sure to compare before you decide. I eliminated one of them directly at that time, because in the class I experienced, the age span of the babies in the class was very large, and the development rhythm was very different, but the teacher used the same rhythm, some babies could keep up, and my baby was a little confused half the time. This effect is simply too bad.
3. The matching degree of early education concept.
Think clearly about the purpose of your early education class, whether it is simply to let children play in different environments or to cultivate their social, intellectual and sports abilities. Then choose the one that matches. I liked the class atmosphere of one of the institutions at that time. The teacher is very professional and the baby has a strong sense of participation. However, the content of the class package is mainly biased towards intellectual development, and there are no major sports. However, my baby's big sports development is relatively slow, and I need this kind of exercise, so I gave up.
In addition, don't choose early education classes that instill knowledge, and don't let your baby get in touch with math and English too early. The focus of the baby's growth at each stage is different, and not all the content is developed as soon as possible.
4. Distance from home.
The distance from home is also a very important factor. This is the advice of a friend of mine. In fact, I confirmed this. There was an experience class that was far away from home before, but I finally gave it up because of the distance. It was too inconvenient to take the children.
5, cost performance.
Look at the course package price of the institution and find out the average unit price of each class, which is usually several hundred. In the case of little difference in effect, it is of course possible to save it. After all, children spend too much money.
After a year of early education class, I took my baby for a year of early education class and briefly summarized my experience.
Let's talk about the harvest first:
The baby's harvest (1) is free to explore in a safer environment. The environmental layout and props configuration of early education institutions are relatively safe. So the baby can crawl, walk and run freely in it. The theme of each class is different, which can fully satisfy the baby's curiosity.
(2) the cultivation of concentration. Perhaps the teacher is more professional, and the baby can really concentrate on completing some tasks under the guidance of the teacher. I am having a swell time.
My harvest (1) high-quality companionship and interaction. Although the course time is not long, I participated in the whole process and interacted with the baby under the guidance of the teacher. During the whole process, I can see that the baby is very happy. And I also learned some ways to interact with my baby every day.
(2) Compare the difference between the baby and other babies of the same age. The children in the class are all babies of the same age and can see the difference between their own baby and other babies. For example, my baby is slower than other babies of the same age in the development of fine hand movements, and I will strengthen this practice on weekdays. This can enlarge the advantages and supplement the disadvantages.
(3) communicate with other mothers. Another advantage of attending the early education class is that we can meet more mothers and we can share our parenting experience together. If only one person raises a child, it is easy to be isolated from the world. There is a mom circle, and the experiences and lessons of parenting, ups and downs, can be shared together. The road to parenting will not be so tired and helpless.
Secondly, talk about shortcomings:
(1) The early education class did not cultivate the baby's social skills well. In class, at least my baby didn't show interest in playing with other children. He still prefers to interact with me. It may also be because the baby who is in class with us is not fixed and the teacher is not fixed. He often meets strange children and new teachers, and he needs to adapt again.
(2) The early education class takes up a lot of time to take the baby out to play. Because my father and I are both office workers, our free time is weekends. Therefore, 1-2 early education classes will be arranged every week. Basically, you can't arrange an outing in the week when there is an early education class. Because there is not enough time and energy.
Do you want to enroll in an early education class or not? Early education is necessary, but early education classes are not.
Participating in the early education class can really provide some convenience for busy office workers, quickly learn the methods of daily interaction with the baby, spare a fixed time to accompany the baby with high quality, and let the baby explore in different environments to satisfy his curiosity.
If you have such a need and have no financial burden, you can sign up for an early education course.
But attending an early education class does not mean completing early education. The most important thing in early education is the companionship and interaction of parents. Even if you attend an early education class, you should take time out to give your child early education on weekdays. Never report to work, just master it.
In addition, early education classes are not the best occasion to cultivate your baby's social skills. Because the students in the class are not fixed, so are the teachers. On the contrary, it is easier to cultivate the socialization of the baby by letting the baby play with other children in the community. If you just want to provide a good social environment for your baby, you really don't have to spend this expensive money.
Another point, also shared by a treasure mother, is that the early education class can't help the baby make a smooth transition to kindergarten. The parents of the early education class will accompany the baby all the time, but the kindergarten needs the baby to face it alone. The biggest problem in kindergarten is separation anxiety, which the early education class can't solve at all.
Therefore, parents need to decide whether to enroll in early education classes according to their actual situation, and don't blindly follow suit.
The above is my experience and thinking on how to choose early education classes. I hope it helps you.
