The predecessor of Teachers College is the Department of Education, which was established in September 2004. After 19 years' development, the College of Teacher Education now has 68 full-time and part-time teachers, including 9 professors and 26 associate professors. In recent years, teachers have published more than 200 papers, presided over 4 national social science funds, 3 key projects of the Ministry of Education, more than 30 educational science planning projects in Jiangsu Province, philosophy and social science projects in universities in Jiangsu Province, and bureau-level projects in Taizhou City, and compiled 8 teaching materials and educational monographs 1 department. This major is a first-class discipline construction major in Jiangsu Province, aiming at cultivating professionals who are fully developed in morality, intelligence, physique and aesthetics, competent in primary education, teaching management and research, have modern educational concepts and good psychological quality, and can guide primary school students' family education. 2. Preschool education (normal school)
This major is the first-class major in our school. The purpose is to cultivate applied talents of preschool education major with all-round development in morality, intelligence, physique, aesthetics and labor, noble moral character, all-round quality, practical reflection ability and sustainable development potential. This major is characterized by art education and science education, focusing on cultivating students' solid skills in music, dance and painting, strengthening students' scientific thinking and innovating the exploration methods of early childhood education.
