In China's traditional concept, parents think that the cultivation of children is "looking after the old at the age of three". For example, parents compare how many words their children can know and how many poems their children can recite. What's more, in order to exercise memory, they ask children to recite the number of digits after pi, and the more children they can recite, they are considered as "prodigies". Many kindergartens pursue this concept and offer a large number of literacy courses for more students. It is a serious violation of the law of children's growth and intellectual development to imprison children who are naive, curious and eager to explore the world in reciting tasks.

In essence, children's reading ability means that preschool children can understand the language meaning of books and paintings in the written language environment of adults, understand the meaning represented by patterns and characters, and try to express their reading comprehension ability with the same symbol diagram. In children's early reading education, children can naturally be familiar with and master a certain amount of words in the process of writing and describing. However, literacy is not only the goal of reading ability, nor can it be the standard of reading education. It is the significance of children's early reading education to cultivate children's interest in reading and their ability to perceive words in exploration and attempt.

Second, the restricted area of children's reading education

In children's reading education, teachers and parents should not impose their own ideas on children, but should let children directly feel the artistic conception and stories in reading materials and let them imagine and think freely. For example, in the poem "Goose", "White hair floats with green water, and Anthurium stirs clear waves." When teaching this poem, many teachers turned this class into a grand view of animals, and their questions focused on the appearance and living habits of geese. In this class, the children know that geese have white feathers, red mouths and feet, but they are completely divorced from poetry and know nothing about the situation and pictures in poetry. This kind of "reading" is just literacy, just recognizing things, which has nothing to do with reading, let alone cultivating children's reading ability.

Most teachers and parents have some misunderstandings about children's early reading education. In fact, education is everywhere, especially early childhood education. In addition to classrooms and playgrounds, children should go to supermarkets the most nowadays, and reading classes abound in supermarkets. Toys such as "Xiong Da Xiong Er Logger Vick", "Wangzai Milk", "Yili QQ Star", "Snowflake Rice Cake" and "Crayon Xiaoxin Fruit Jelly" are familiar to a large number of children since childhood. Teachers and parents only need to dial the name gently, and with the packaging and color, children can understand every word directly. As long as teachers and parents are willing, children can learn knowledge from anywhere and improve their reading ability.

Third, the main points of children's reading education

(A) Pay attention to the influence of parents

In the traditional understanding, many parents think that the teachers of early education are more professional, so sending their children to the early education center is considered to have completed early education. More parents think that education is a teacher's business and has nothing to do with parents. Only when children's life circle and study circle are full of reading atmosphere can children who come into contact with it naturally acquire reading ability in the most relaxed state. At the same time, parents' good reading habits can set an example for their children and let them form reading habits unconsciously.

(2) Use the power of game activities to stimulate children's natural curiosity and interest.

Game activities can greatly enhance children's interest in reading and improve their participation. In teaching, teachers should integrate reading education into life, create a game atmosphere, string Chinese characters and stories into props in the game, and let children learn these contents as if they knew game symbols. For those fairy tales, let the children play the leading role. Through role dialogue, situational drills and various toys and decorations that children like, children have the opportunity to play these fairy tale characters. In this process, reading has become something that children are doing wholeheartedly. The more they participate, the faster their reading ability will improve.

(3) Strengthen parent-child interaction and reading.

Children's perception of the world is the thickness of emotions. The more affinity children have, the greater their interest in exploring and learning. In the relationship between teachers and children, the more children like teachers, the more they pay attention to the way teachers speak, and even deliberately learn the way of speaking and doing things from their favorite teachers. Similarly, the stronger the parent-child relationship, the best reading education is the communication between parents and children. Children will imitate their parents' expressions and their cognitive process of things, and will unconsciously acquire their parents' reading comprehension ability.
