What should I pay attention to when teaching my baby to use the toilet?
My daughter began to learn to go to the toilet when she was two years old and three months old. The time is chosen in late spring and early summer, because it is warmer this season and there are fewer clothes to wear, so it will be much more convenient to train. Before training, buy a beautiful small toilet and put it in an obvious place so that she can get familiar with such new things first. Prepare some cocoa briefs, because my daughter likes animals and fruits very much, so the underwear I bought is also printed with animals or fruits. Before the real toilet training, I let her watch me go to the toilet. After she got familiar with it, she became curious about going to the toilet, so I started a day of toilet training.

The first step is to guide the child to get rid of diapers slowly and let him choose his own underwear.

Step 2: Say hello to Miss Toilet, make friends and tell the story of Miss Toilet.

The third step is to briefly introduce the toilet process and watch early education films related to toilet use.

Step 4: After drinking water for half an hour to an hour, ask the lady whether to go to the toilet to urinate.

Step 5: Be mentally prepared for her daughter to pee on the floor, sofa, feet and legs, and be physically prepared to wipe the floor, change sofa cover, take a bath and wash underwear ... On this day, she got wet three times. Note: don't blame the child for wetting his pants. We should think that it is the first time for him to learn to go to the toilet! We just need to tell him calmly that we have to pee in the toilet, not in our pants. )

Step 6: Because the wet urine is unbearable, my daughter will try to urinate in the toilet, but there will still be some resistance. What I need to do is to accompany and comfort, but gently and firmly encourage her to finish urinating.

Step 7: Give her daughter great affirmation and encouragement after the first successful urination, and then praise her with her favorite little doll, which impressed her deeply.

After a period of training, she has been very accustomed to going to the toilet by herself, and it went smoothly without crying. Although diapers are still used sometimes, this kind of thing should be done slowly.
