With social progress and economic development, people pay more and more attention to early childhood education, and the whole society begins to pay attention to early childhood education. The Regulations of Beijing Municipality on Preschool Education clearly points out that preschool education refers to the education of 0-6-year-old infants, which is the responsibility of the education department, and it is necessary to realize the integrated education of child care. Therefore, in 2002, Beijing launched the "Beijing Early Education Research Project" and set up 20 early education bases in the city. Our park is one of them. Its purpose is to tap the potential of existing preschool education facilities, carry out various forms of personalized education activities for children scattered in families and society, create conditions for the growth of infants and provide guidance for family education. Our garden has been an early education base for two years. In the past two years, we have attached great importance to the work of early education bases, actively worked hard to create a working situation, and constantly explored ways and means to play the role of early education bases. The following is a summary of our work in the past two years. In order to do better in the future, we will discuss the improvement with the sister garden.

First, through various forms and channels, publicize the importance of early education, popularize parenting knowledge, and improve the awareness and educational skills of parents and caregivers of infants.

Although people in today's society have begun to attach importance to early childhood education, there are still quite a few parents who think that as long as their children eat well, wear warm clothes and don't get sick in infancy. With the continuous development of infant education research, research shows that 0~3 years old is a critical period for human brain development and intellectual development. Early education is most sensitive to the baby's actions, speech, cognition, emotions and habits. During this period, the baby is mainly raised by parents and caregivers at home. In order to make more parents and caregivers realize the importance of early education and understand the role of early education base, we have actively carried out various forms of publicity activities.

(1) Promote the role of early education base through radio with the community.

The community in Yangqiao Beili, where my garden is located, is relatively standardized in community construction management, and the staff are in charge. There is a broadcast to the residents of the community at 4 pm every day. After my garden was identified as an early education base, we went into the community to communicate with the directors and cadres of the neighborhood committees and let them understand the purpose and significance of establishing an early education base. I hope the community will cooperate with our early education base to manage the scattered children aged 0-3 for them. With the cooperation of community neighborhood committees, the early education base was publicized by radio for the first time. The publicity contents include: introducing the research project on early education of 0-3 years old initiated by Beijing and the background, purpose and significance of this research; In order to cooperate with this research, the Beijing Municipal Government has set up 20 early education bases relying on the first batch of kindergartens. Xiluoyuan Kindergarten is one of them. The role of early education base is mainly to provide educational consultation, tutor guidance, games and entertainment places for scattered children aged 0-3. Through this quick way, the residents of the community have a preliminary understanding of the early education base in our park. Secondly, we also distributed publicity materials to the families of scattered children in our district through community neighborhood committees, which expanded the influence of the early education base and made the first step of publicity for the base. Thirdly, we also made two big publicity windows at the entrance of the kindergarten, with text introductions and activities. (Insert photo)

We regularly consult and distribute publicity materials at the kindergarten gate to answer parents' educational puzzles and questions face to face. In February and August of each semester, combined with the enrollment work, our garden selects teachers with educational experience to carry out consultation activities to introduce the importance of early education to parents, the characteristics of brain development of infants aged 0-3, and what should early education "teach" children? Our garden is the focus of centralized vaccination for infants in community health stations. Take this opportunity to publicize early education to parents of infants and children in a timely manner and distribute early education publicity materials. For example, the 0~3-year-old infant education plan, good articles in pre-school education periodicals, and the special issue of Happy Baby Parent-child Paradise compiled and distributed by our garden have all played our role and expanded our influence.

(4) Go deep into the community for more extensive and in-depth publicity.

In order to publicize more pertinently, the teachers of parent-child park went into the communities around the kindergarten, street parks, McDonald's and KFC restaurants, distributed information for parents of infants and young children, publicized early education, and answered parents' questions and doubts about parenting. (5) hold a forum to discuss early education with parents and publicize the role of early education base.

We have held many parents' forums, talked with nearly 100 parents, understood their needs and listened to their suggestions. Through the parent-teacher conference, we feel that parents have a strong demand for parenting education, show high interest, and gradually learn about the contents of parent-child activities, hoping to arrange expert lectures and teach them scientific parenting methods. This has also strengthened our confidence in early education and determined the goal and direction of our work. This method has achieved direct results, strengthened mutual communication and understanding, and all parents who came to the forum actively signed up for parent-child classes.

Second, strengthen the construction of early education bases and create a good environment for parenting education.

(1) Incorporate early education into the work system of the whole park and implement various management systems.

The construction of early education base has become an important part of the overall work of our park. Through the staff meeting, we publicize the importance of base construction in the park, improve the ideological understanding of employees and encourage employees to actively participate in various activities of base construction. The director personally pays attention to the overall situation, the deputy director is responsible for the implementation of the specific work of the early education base, and the logistics director is responsible for the logistics support of the early education base. At the same time, we have also established the relevant systems of the early education base, such as the enrollment system, the charging system, the administrative duty system, the responsibilities of the parent-child class teacher, and the teaching and research system. So as to ensure the smooth progress of basic management work.

(2) Pay attention to the training and construction of teachers, and constantly improve the quality of education.

Our garden attaches great importance to the cultivation of parent-child teachers. Nine young teachers who are firm in professional thinking, love children, are willing to study their business, have a college degree in preschool education and have certain education and teaching experience have been selected. After training, they have mastered the basic theories and methods. Now all nine of them are teachers of parent-child classes, taking on the teaching work of parent-child classes and Saturday half-day classes. After two years of educational practice, teachers have a deep understanding: "The work of parent-child park has greatly exercised us and promoted our business." The parent-child class teacher undertakes the two major tasks of the teaching class and the parent-child class in the park, and the work task is very heavy. The work in the base occupied a lot of their spare time, but they devoted themselves to their work without complaint. Seeing their progress, other teachers also expressed their willingness to get such an opportunity to exercise themselves. The enthusiasm of all staff to participate in early education is very high.

(3) Invested more than RMB100,000 to establish parent-child classrooms and purchase toys, books, tapes, CDs, teaching reference books, teaching AIDS, drinking fountains, air conditioners and other equipment suitable for infants under 3 years old, which provided basic material guarantee for early education. Third, explore ways and means of parenting education to create conditions for the growth of babies and provide guidance for family education.

(1) Open "Happy Baby Parent-child Paradise" to provide children with opportunities for activities and communication, develop their potential and provide parents with tutoring guidance.

From April 2002 to now, in the past two years, we * * * held five parent-child classes (four months each) on Saturday (held in April 2003 because of SARS, less than two months), and enrolled more than 65,438+000 children aged 0-3. Children are divided into Baby Class (2-3 years old) and Beibei Class according to their age. By carrying out various forms of parent-child activities, children can be promoted to use their hands and brains, give them rich sensory stimulation, promote the development of children's brain, muscles and communication skills, and improve parents' understanding and ability of scientific parenting.
