Feeling balloon
Curriculum concept:

Emotional management is to explore your emotions in the right way, then adjust your emotions, understand your emotions and relax them. Through simple online games, this lesson helps children understand what emotions will arise in specific situations and help them realize that different events will trigger different emotions. Next, brainstorm through group discussion to help children understand the methods of managing emotions by themselves and others, and master the initial emotional management skills.

Course objectives:

Understand your feelings and learn to face and solve emotional problems.

Classroom process:

First, the warm-up stage

Game: haha mirror

Second, the working stage.

1. Draw three big balloons on A4 paper with your favorite watercolor pen.

Write down all your feelings on the first balloon, such as happiness, anger, sadness, distress and happiness. ...

Write down some people related to you in the second balloon, such as father, mother, friends and teachers. ...

Write down the things that impressed you in the third balloon, such as doing homework and going to school in the park. ...

Finally, please connect these three balloons. For example, if you are happy that your mother takes you to the park, then connect happiness, your mother and the park.

Give everyone a balloon, blow it up and tie it up.

Teacher: Now you can imagine your body as this balloon. There are many feelings in the balloon, including happiness, sadness and anger. When we are filled with anger, sadness, distress and frustration like balloons, we think: Will we be comfortable? So when we are upset, depressed and sad, what should we do to solve our own problems and become happy again?

As a group, we can discuss the solution collectively. We can talk about our approved effective solutions for the specific things written in the activity, and each group will send a representative to share the solutions that the group has come up with.

When we go outdoors, we imagine the balloon full of gas as a balloon full of troubles, which contains all kinds of negative emotions such as anger, sadness, distress and depression. We collectively step on balloons to release negative emotions.

Third, the summary stage.

The teacher summed up the ways to deal with negative emotions:

1. Stop: First tell yourself that you are in a bad mood. If you feel bad, stop immediately.

2. Listen: Listen to your inner voice quietly. What's bothering you?

3. Thinking: Thinking about what I should do. Can someone help me? Is there any way to solve it?

4. try: anyway, try the method I think first. Is it useful?

5. Reward: I have worked hard and should reward myself! Feel better now, encourage yourself; It seems that you are still unhappy, try another way!
