Compared with other EEG methods before, the above brainwave music gives better consideration to science and artistry. However, there are still some problems to be solved in this study, such as the artificial setting of sound length in music, the use of experimental data of head surface EEG, the effect of reference electrode and volume conductor, which leads to the fact that the real brain region corresponding to EEG is still unclear.
Future research needs to further explore more and more scientific methods of brainwave music creation, so that it can reflect the physiological state of human body more accurately and enhance its scientific and application value. The researchers adopted a filtering strategy similar to the musician's creative process. On the basis of single-channel brainwave music, beat filtering and pattern filtering are added to create multi-voice brainwave music, which better expresses the musicality of the whole brain.
